SmartSync is an easy way to control your smartphone from the car’s audio system. It offers voice recognition, parking assistance, and more, all from a few taps on your smartphone’s screen. And if you’re using the app’s app, you can set the app to launch whenever you use the head unit’s voice command.
SmartSync works on all Android smartphones running Android 5.0 or higher. You’ll also need a Pioneer Car Connect, SPH, SPH Dashboard, FH, FH Plus, FH2, FH2 Plus, FHX, and FH20. And, you’ll need a compatible phone running Android 8.0 Oreo or higher.
This app is not an actual Bluetooth Smart connection, but it’s a good solution for connecting two devices together. It works by connecting your Bluetooth car kit to your Bluetooth smartphone using the built-in Bluetooth Smart receiver in the car. The app sends the Bluetooth connection to the car and allows you to control it.
You’ll need to download the app before you install the compatible car kit to get it to work.
